 Oscarach
is a gorgeous, 16.2h, ISH stallion
by the legendary sire Touchdown. Touchdown
is by the World Champion sire Galoubet
A. His progeny have won over £1
million since 1981. His dam, Lady
Willpower was herself a top international
show jumper. Galoubet A is one of
the most successful sires in the world,
and among whose other notable offspring
is Quick Star and three time World
Champion Baloubet De Rouet. Touchdown
went quickly to Grade A and then started
his international career, winning
numerous classes abroad. In 1992,
Touchdown was on the winning Aga Khan
team, as well as the highest placed
Irish show jumper at the Barcelona
Olympics. Temperament, talent and
aptitude, are trade marks of Touchdown
and can be seen in his famous offspring,
Liscalgot, the gold medal winner at
the 2002 WEG, and Olympic Eventer,
High Scope.
Oscarach is living up to his famous
father's reputation through his rideablility,
talent, aptitude and outstanding work
ethic.
His dam, Coolrain Princess, whose
line goes back to the referential
stallion, Blue Peter, is proving to
be a producer of outstanding jumpers,
including world cup competitor and
top calibur jumper, Ado Annie; as
well as the up and coming Ominous
Flight. In addition to producing some
very good racehorses, including Derby
winner, Ocean Swell, Blue Peter was
also an extraordinarily influential
jumping progenitor. His grandson,
Ladykiller, through his two great
sons, Lord and Landgraf, was perhaps
the most influential Thoroughbred
jumping sire of all time in Germany.
