Manager/Grounds Manager
An accomplished horseman himself, Jim Welsh has
over 18 years industry experience. His vast experience
includes grooming for U.S.E.T members Jimmy Fairclough
and Chester Weber at the 1993 World Pairs Driving
Championships, and prepping Brookdale Stallion’s
sale horses for the prestigious Keenland sales.
He learned the ins and outs of international horse
shipping working for the Dutta Corporation, a world
class shipping company, where he orchestrated the
shipping of over 700 horses. This practice in the
shipping industry led him to start his own company
Elite Horse Transport, LLC in 2002: now a growing
and successful company that transports some of our
nation’s top dressage and show jumping horses.
In addition to his hands on experience working
with horses, Mr. Welsh has over five years experience
working in mergers and acquisitions as a Senior
Operations Analyst.
